Washing and Aftercare

Our garments, cushions and bags have been lovingly handmade and some hand printed, therefore, they need to be treated with care when washing.

After you have purchased your handmade item, I’m sure you want to do your best to make sure it looks it’s best, so here are some washing instructions and aftercare to keep your garments or homewares looking tiptop.

Washing Instructions

  • Please wash all clothing, cushion covers and bags inside out at 30° gentle washing machine cycle such as ‘handwash’ or ‘delicate’ and dry naturally.

A Note on Quilted Items

  • You can either wash your quilted jacket or baby quilt by hand or on a gentle machine cycle such as a ‘handwash’ or ‘delicate’ cycle at 30° reshape whilst damp and dry flat, naturally.

Ironing

  • All garments that have not been quilted, cushion covers and bags can be ironed on a cotton setting unless otherwise stated.

  • With quilted garments, you can shake a lot of the creases out whilst damp and some of the beauty of the quilted fabric is the crinkled effect you get when washing, I feel it offers another layer of comfort and cosiness. If you do need to iron your quilted item, please do so on a low setting.
