Indian Block Printing Workshops for Schools

Schools

Do we really understand the importance and impact of creativity on children?

Sadly, creativity and the arts is being removed from schools with detrimental effects to children. Creativity has been proven to enhance wellbeing, it opens the door to exploration and curiosity. It gives space to explore feelings, thoughts and the world around us without the necessity for words which can sometimes get in the way. From creativity grows communication, confidence and resilience, all the qualities needed to successfully navigate life- even when times are tough.

Now, more than ever, children need these skills, they need to be able to use their hands to create which will enable them to thrive.

I often wonder, if children aren’t given the opportunities to be creative, to play and to explore, what happens to our future surgeons, innovators and pioneers?

My workshops allow children the freedom and space to explore creatively in a nurturing environment.
